Is Madonna now easy listening?

When I think of Madonna, I think of a musician who, over the years, has been very controversial--overtly sexual lyrics, plenty of relationships with lots of different men, etc.

To my surprise, while waiting to be transferred to an attorney I called, the hold music was Madonna's "Like a Virgin." Um, is it just me or does that seem slightly unprofessional?

Sure, I hummed along while I waited (I grew up in the late 80s/early 90s!), but yikes. I guess maybe I'm getting old enough that the music I used to consider "risky" is now bland and probably featured on 98.5.
