Do you remember that episode of The Office where Pam gets mad because the microwave is left all nasty? Well, I was just the culprit at my office microwave. Apparently canned minestrone soup doesn't take 4 minutes to heat up. Anything longer than 3 and you've got a tomato-y disaster on your hands (literally).
Lesson learned. (and microwave cleaned up!) But, wow what a mess. Sick.

here's a little helpful hint from a guy who has messed up many a microwave
take a bowl and fill it with some water and vinegar
cook it for 2-3 minutes
it'll steam and then you just wipe the whole thing down
it's just that easy
