Vacation-Day 1

I'm really sunburned. I did a poor job putting on sunscreen and I think it was a year old. Even my ears are burned!

But, today was fabulous. Two long ocean swims, big waves, read a whole book, took a walk, went for a beach run, found a delightful coffee place, ate a big steak, won 2 games of cornhole, and took a shower outside. (I am a big fan of the outdoor shower). Now I am stuffed and exhausted. And, I found out my good friend from law school is down here at the same time! What luck!

Here I am--a lovely pose on the deck upstairs. I kind of don't want this week to end. There's something great about getting re-energized and being relaxed.
