T-7 Days

In honor of the fact that in one week I will find out whether I passed the Ohio Bar, this post is dedicated to lawyer humor...hopefully it will ease the nerves (and give everyone else some good material to make fun of me)... ENJOY!

These are real questions asked in court by attorneys to witnesses on the stand:

Now doctor, isn't it true that when a person dies in his sleep, in most cases he just passes quietly away and doesn't know anything about it until the next morning?

The youngest son, the 20-year-old, how old is he?

Were you alone or by yourself?

Were you present in court this morning when you were sworn in?

Q: You say that the stairs went down to the basement?
A: Yes.
Q: And these stairs, did they go up also?

Q: Do you know how far pregnant you are now?
A: I'll be three months on March 12th.
Q: Apparently then, the date of conception was around January 12th?
A: Yes.
Q: What were you doing at that time?

And some jokes:
Q: How does a pregnant woman know she is carrying a future lawyer?
A: She has an extreme craving for baloney.

Q: What do honest lawyers and UFO's have in common?
A: You always hear about them, but you never see them.

And God said, "Let there be Satan, so people don't blame everything on me. And let there be lawyers, so people don't blame everything on Satan."

Q: Why does a failing law student and an alcoholic have in common?
A: Neither of them can pass the bar.

one more week....one more week...

Annie, your answer (after diligent research):

You won't find a lawyer who can change a light bulb. Now, if you're looking for a lawyer to screw a light bulb...
